Values are something that we have been taught throughout our lives. Values are basic and fundamental beliefs that guide or motivate our attitudes and actions. Did you know there are three types of values? Characters value, works value and personal values. Character values are those that we need to exist as a good human being. Work values are the ones that help you to find what you want in your job and satisfaction. And last but not least, personal values are those that help you to do what you want for your future and support the happiness in your life.
And we want to emphasize the values of leadership. Because the three types of values are reflected in one. Some leadership values we can mention are respect, integrity, authenticity, courage, service, humility, wisdom, etc.
Work values, here leadership values are represented because you have to be the one who assumes the responsibility for making sure everything is going well and be the one that helps others if they need help. In character values, this could help with empathy. You as a leader can see the effort people put in something they really want to do and also in those moments people don't have enough enthusiasm. In personal values it helps to determine how you want to achieve your goals and what type of leader you want to be.
Leadership values help you grow and develop personally and professionally. A leader can change the perspectives of all the members of the group; they can be good or bad. An example is that the leader has attitudes or laws that are not the best for the team, the most common error is that can have aggressive behaviors that are counterproductive against one person that has a good attitude but at the same time a good way to express that is the leader because all have a balance. People say that a good leader was born with that virtue but we can say that you can develop that ability because for that you must have to earn many values and no one is born with all those values.
