Essay on Pacific Convivence

by

DO MI SOL:
Pacific Convivence

___

Albert Einstein once said, "Peace cannot be kept by force;

it can only be achieved by understanding."

For many years, the world has been mired in wars, battles, disputes, etc. All this due to religious, political, geographical differences and a lot of silly causes. How is it possible that after so many years making a mistake, we still do it? How is it possible to go back and forth and trip over the same rock?

For me, the conflicts we are experiencing now are too unfair. It's like, I feel like we owe a lot to all those who fought and lost their lives in the process looking for peace in the past. All the sacrifices that were made are lost again now. Until when will we continue acting the same? We can’t allow our selfishness and ambition to override good intentions such as being in harmony. Harmony is the balance of proportions between the different parts of a whole, and its result always connotes beauty. An example in music could be the C harmony, which is made up of C (DO)  E (MI)  G (SOL). Have you ever heard that sound on the piano? It is a sound that, for me, transmits happiness, optimism, peace. This is how we could be: stable and calm.

Peace is like harmony in music, and to form harmony, harmonic and melodic instruments are needed, so clapping and tapping at the same time do not create harmony. To achieve peace, communication and understanding are needed, not force.

Natural, But Nuts (A Musicalized Poem)

by

Oh! Susanna's Melody

Once I heard a dying planet

Crying for many awful things

But it was trying to kill us

Ravishing what we could see

Oh, extreme weather

Tell me where you are gonna be

If you are gonna be decaying

Leaving us nothing to exist

This natural world is rather nuts

If you haven't noticed it

We have been behind the causes

Triggering its state of being

Oh, extreme weather

Please, give us some relief

Or we're gonna die so badly,

Fading away bit by bit

Traveling  this planet Earth

I bumped into polar bears

They had a saddened face

And no more ice to stay.

Thanks to Earth

For keeping us right here

Do not try to assassinate us

Let's survive this century.

Let's be aware,

We need to change our minds,

Stopping consumerism,

We'll probably survive.

Conditionals In Context: A Song.

by

First we have zero conditional

This thing is very traditional
This is used for facts and general habits
If it's hunting season, you won't see a lot of rabbits

Now goes the first conditional
For your English, this will be nutritional
If I miss my flight, I'll take the next one
Oh no! The police took my other gun.

Now we have second conditional,
and yes, it's very fictional,
impossible in the past,
unlikely in the future,
if I could beat you up,
I'd turn you into a vulture.
Now don't be scared, an example is all it is,
but be careful, it'll happen if you don't win the quiz.

At last there's third conditional
We are gonna get predictional
If I had asked this girl out, we would probably have been together
**Another person** don't lie to yourself.
Ahhh, whatever!!!

My Respect Song

by

We have to see the way we address;

Talking to each other with respect.

See around when the richest's mistreating the poor.

Or the child is yelling his mom.

We have to refrain from using bad words,

or you are ending lonely and with no one to hug.

Let's just be respectful,

you are losing none and winning a lot.

There is something wonderful about peace and love.

E for equality (equality), T for tolerant (tolerant)

And the rest I'll leave it for you to analize.

Let's just be respectful,

you are losing none and winning a lot.

There is something wonderful about peace and love.

Just be respectful.

Music and Its Effects on the Human Body: Essay

by

 MUSIC AS AN ANCIENT MEDICINE

Do you remember when you first began listening to music? It’s something that almost feels natural since we have been singing and hearing those familiar little tunes over the course of the years, since we were little toddlers to learn the alphabet until when we become older when we dance at parties and share memories. Which has got me wondering, don’t you think music may affect us in some way?

It is like when that one song plays, you get goosebumps and then your mind is flooded with memories that make you feel so nostalgic, like when that family member was alive, or when you were friends with that girl. Maybe it is something that goes beyond our minds reach, how does music actually affect our physical beings?

According to PubMed in 2017, research has shown music may influence central physiological features,  like blood pressure, calming you down or getting your mood up. Also our temperature might be affected by it, and may go as far as influencing immune or endocrine functions!

Well, if music is so good at all these things and apparently is a sacred remedy, why isn’t this information more well known?

Apparently, there isn’t enough information about this, but it's not so certain yet which tunes or beats influence specific functions of our intricate bodies due to that same reason.

Our bodies are so complex and perfectly made that we can’t know for sure which brain receptors catch onto those diverse little drums yet, but through how technology is speeding things up, who knows? Maybe in some time music will help us battle more serious conditions than just the uses nowadays conferred to it, as music therapy applied for a great spectra of diseases, Alzheimer among them.

Essay Topic: Music Effects on the Human Body.

by

The Concise Oxford Dictionary defines music as "the art of combining vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion". Taking this into account, we all can agree that music is some type of energy or happiness that you can receive in a different way. We all know what music is, music is everywhere, music is that special thing that gives a place some type of energy depending on the different type of music that is playing at the moment.

There are people who can take music in one way or another. It can change the attitude of someone, different types of music can bring memories, make you happier or sadder, but something everyone can say is that music is an essential energy in everyone’s life.

Also music can affect in different ways the human body, research has shown that music may influence central physiological variables like blood pressure, heart rate, respiration, EEG measurements, body temperature and galvanic skin response. Music influences immune and endocrine function. It can also ameliorate anxiety, pain, nause, fatigue, and depression. Which type of music can make that? It is not exactly known at the moment which type of music can work for optimum effect in specific clinical situations.

But something that is proved, is that there is a certain type of music depending on the person that can help you to study and concentrate on it more to be more effective, for example, you can search on YouTube music to study and it will appear some type of calm music.
