Football!

WE WANT SOCCER!

They already opened everything in Colombia, but Dimayor is not solving anything in order to play. The country entered the new normality, now everyone can go out, but the ball is not rolling.

Since Tuesday, September 1, in Colombia "the new normality" has already been established, this means, the mobility restrictions that were decreed during the last 5 months to control the new coronavirus pandemic ended and now it will depend on the responsibility of citizens .

In this context, shopping centers, restaurants with limited capacity, bars, motels, airports, even dog houses have already been opened, but Colombian football still does not take the step to resume the Soccer League.

Meetings, Assemblies of Dimayor, talks with the Ministry of Sports are passing and the return date is getting longer and longer. It was said that, in August, that the first week of September, that the second and we are going now that it will be the third.

In this sense, the Minister of Sports, Ernesto Lucena, referred to the current situation of Colombian football and its delays. "The Government has been supporting that opening. The two entities in this are Minsalud and Mindeporte. There was internal traffic in Dimayor that delayed the issue," Lucena clarified on the radio program 'Deportes sin tapujos'.

And he added: "For some additional requests from Dimayor such as number of players, flexibility in the concentration space. We have told Minsalud to consider those requests. Today we await that modified resolution for collective training and the start of the League. With the decreed, which is in forced as of September 1, there is flexibility in mobility, which favors that the headquarters can be that of each team ".

Finally, he said: "The message I leave is that we want to restart football, we are on the right track. I hope that in the third week of September we will be starting the tournament," he said.
