Poetry For Those Who Like Playing

The Love Game

We played love

 Like it was just a game

 We pretended

 To feel the same

 Then we turned around

 And leave again.

We played with each other

 As if we were toys

 As if life was a game

 As if  we didn’t matter

 As if we didn’t care.

We say we love each other

 That’s another lie

 Another game

 I’d love to play.

We are both distractions

For each other 

Just a method to fill the void 

So reality we can avoid. 

Not even Andy

 played like this with Woody

I guess we just invented

A new toy story movie.
