A Poem For Those Who Suffer

Tortured Souls

A New Vision for Dreams of the Dying - The New York Times
Tortured souls,
Knocking at my door,
Swelling my heart with no option,
but to EXPLODE.
Tortured souls,
The easiest ones to understand,
They speak with their EYES,
and the full extent of themselves.
Tortured Souls,
Staring at the ceiling,
Leaving no option,
but to wonder and CRY.

Tortured souls,

Giving themselves a hard time,
When they want nothing,
but to SMILE.

Tortured souls,
Are the real deal,
They come in unexpected ways,
and carry the most WEIGHT.
