June and Little Black
For June, a little white rabbit, there was nothing better than going to the beach, it was the most wonderful time of her day, after breakfast, she liked to go for a long ride every morning.
the sweet sound of the waves of the ocean, so it was practically impossible not to be completely relaxed by all that, and it was June’s way to escape for a little while of all her problems. But when the sun was at its highest point, her paradise abruptly ended, her piece of heaven ran away from her life and she needed to carry on with her normal life, full of issues, situations and problems.
One day, things were different, she was far beyond just being tired, she was exhausted of working, sick of all her responsibilities, of all the things she had to do, she wanted to disappear just for a little while. She went to the beach as normal, but there was one little but significant change, even when the sun was shining with all its might, she wouldn't wake up, and thing continued that way, her paradise was endless, dreaming of a life without problems. She felt as if she was on top of the world.
It was late by night and the moon was shining, little Black, the octopus, was swimming to the surface. He knew that the outside world was dangerous, but at midnight, the beach was always completely empty, he could see the blue sky and the amazing moon, as an espectacle that was projected for him and only him, it was his little paradise, his piece of heaven.
He felt that he didn't belong down there, he could never fulfill his partners expectations, so that little escape, was the part of the day he appreciated the most, so when he saw June invading his sacred space, he felt terrified of losing his secret place, and screamed out of surprise, waking up June.
June was agitated at first, she couldn't understand what was happening, but when she saw Little Black all scared, she decided that her priority, was to calm him.
“Please, don't be scared, I won’t hurt you”
And that was the beginning of the most wonderful friendship, they both felt as if they didn't belong, but together, that feeling vanished, they talked for hours, bringing comfort to the other, and when dawn came, they promised to meet again next day. June changed her little paradise in the morning for something even better, and Little Black shared his paradise with her.
Alone, life was a nightmare, but they found in each other the strength to enjoy life, the comfort to carry on with a smile, they built the best of friendships, ome that went beyond every frontier of the land and sea.
