Review

Wonder. August's Lesson by R.J. Palace

This is a book that talks about a boy who was born with a deformation on his face.

This boy is called August his mother always taught him at home but when he was ten his parents enrolled him in school.

in the book he talks about how bad it felt to be judged and at the same time leads us to reflect that one never knows how the other person can feel and that we should not judge others by their appearance.

When August goes to school, he faces many children who can sometimes be very cruel and that's when nobody wanted to play or even talk to him.

August finds it difficult to adapt but not impossible and in the end he manages to have friends and feel good about himself

This book is very nice since it leads us to reflect on not judging people by their appearance as they may be extraordinary people like August.

I really liked this book and I recommend it.
