Before
Before I looked to the front
I looked at the sky
I saw birds who might very soon die
I looked at the moon
that was conquered by men.
Before I looked to the front, I looked down
I looked at the wastes
They were now brown
I saw the asphalt, as I passed fast
I looked at the ground, how sad!
Then, I looked to the right
I looked at a gas station, it made me fright
I saw the grass full of trash
I saw the workers wanting more cash
So before I looked forward, I looked behind
A plane flying high
Saw our foundation
I saw people ignoring the implications
I looked up and looked forward
Wanting an end to this terror
I hoped for it to be done
But everything went on awkward
