Stereotyping Is Dangerous

Stereotyping Is Dangerous

Once upon a time, there was a girl who wanted to participate in “Little Miss Universe”. Unfortunately, the organizers told her that she couldn’t participate because she shouldn’t be so overweighted.

This really affected her, so days went by and she started eating less every time. Two months later, her parents told her that she had to go to the doctor, where she was diagnosed with anorexia; therefore, she got to the point when she could only see her fragile bones.

She knew that if she didn’t take care of herself she would die, so she started eating normally. She finally was healthy and started her own beauty contest that could include every size and color. This later became the most popular beauty contest.

Lesson learned: Believe in yourself, accept your body as it is. Never try to fit stereotypes because that can be dangerous.
