Hi!, I'll Be Me

Hi!, I'll Be Me

Caught in the reflection
of who you want me to be
Myself in the mirror laughing,
while it is looking at me.

Afraid of forgetting who I am,
Pretending I'm fine, lying,
trapped inside myself

Some people live their paradise on this Earth
While some others think this is hell
This illusion is everyday more real
This nightmare is no more a dream

My childhood's memories
My moments of real euphoria
are the ones that keep me wide awake,
are the ones that keep me sane

For just one day, like a butterfly
I want to fly away
Hoping the morning light will come again
Because in no darkness
And in no season will forever rain
