First Oustanding Delegate's Speech.

First Oustanding Delegate's Speech.

The picture below shows Susana Rengifo, a Step 9th grader, who won the First Outstanding Delegate's Certificate at Karl C. Parrish Model Of the United Nations 2019. Congrats to her and we invite you to read her speech.

Good morning, honourable members of the chair, distinguished delegates and others present, the delegation of France feels honored to be part of this committee, which addresses paramount  issues of global relevance and whose main objective is to seek for solutions relating to features affecting the well-being of the population, like the organized crime, as a consequence from  drug trafficking and the resulting programs of witnesses' protection.

The delegation of France is totally alarmed by the problems in which the international community is involved after facing this situation. The French Government firmly believes that with the joint efforts of all those present, concrete solutions could be reached that might eradicate the global scourge of that organized crime and the insecurity of witnesses would be solved, in order to be able to save the current generations, as well as the future ones, so that opportunities would be given for them to live in a safer environment that may allow them to develop in a healthier and free choice society.

Let's unite, please, as First World nations to make stronger decisions that will allow present and future generations to build up for their desired and dreamt future, on the basis of achieving the end of these issues.

The well-being of the population must be the priority of any nation.

Merci Beaucoup
