The Battle Between Beauty and Imperfection

The Battle Between Beauty and Imperfection

Beauty was once complaining about having to share this world with so many ugly beings that she started to say to herself:
"Oh, what a shame! Why did God create so many unfortunate creatures? They are so ill-favored that I just would like them to be taken to another planet if I cannot get rid of them right now."

The mirror was listening to her and told her to stop complaining about such a stupid idea, so it persuaded her into thinking that eventually, she would need from those that she was rejecting now.
Not so much time had elapsed than she was terribly bored: God heard her and took her away to a world of perfection, where she was merely another perfected being, so she said: “Now, when I am here in the middle of this amazingly well done world, I began thinking on the things I used to have, like those ugly animals and people who made me think I was of great value; however, in this new realm of perfection, I am only another guy whose beauty is undistinguishable from the rest, so I have no one to compare myself to. What a boring life!”. She went on crying.

Unexpectedly, there was a rambling noise coming from heaven and God’s voice told her to stop being so immature. She didn’t need anyone to contrast herself upon and that was His decision to make her reflect that in His divine wisdom, He created everything and it was OK like that because the real beauty is just in the eye of the beholder.
After that scolding, she promised she would be more mature from that day on and that she would start appreciating every single thing around her, so she declared:  “I am no one to bring unhappiness upon this world, just telling everyone He /she/ it was as they were, ugly in my opinion, but this is just another chance for me to start over. I promise God that I am going to be more tolerant to differences, more prone to accepting that everyone is a chance to grow, that I am imperfect since I could not see the beauty in my fellow beings”.
God heard her and gave to her another chance for her to mend her errors and invited her to Earth in order to exercise her right to having a better interactive frame of mind; however,  as soon as she received this opportunity, she once again began to criticize all her friends, creatures and even God.
After all this trouble, God finally concluded that there are beings in life that never ever change their paradigms because they are always secluded in a kind of mental slavery where open mindedness is inexistence; which is why they are endlessly reluctant to accept that diversity is what makes from us free citizens of this universe because all differences rather enrich us.
