The Fragrance
Once upon a time, in 1560 an Italian witcher, whose name was Giaccotto Pascalli, an ex-military, was part of the army that served in the Italian Wars between 1494-1559. He had been traumatized by all the things that a person can imagine, such as dead people that he may knew, rituals of dark magic, suicides and all the aberrations of the war that soldiers unfortunately have to see. When Giacotto finished his service, he received a notice about his family, they were murdered by a powerful French family, the Borelly’s. The Pascalli’s had a treatment with Sir-Etienne, the prince of Paris, it was based on bringing everyday diamonds for Sir-Etienne, they would receive a home and their needs, while Giaccotto was in the war.
The Giaccotto’s mother asked the prince not to kill their children; however, decided to ignore the woman and carry the whole family to the guillotine. Pascalli, without his family, was full of regret. He wanted revenge to honor the death of each member that was assassinated by the prince. Giaccotto had to plan something to make Sir-Etienne suffer, so he decided to gain the trust of the man for not being suspect. He asked Sir-Etienne if he could do the job that his family did before they were murdered. The prince got shocked, he didn’t expect that purpose, yet he accepted because he hadn’t found a person who could accept that difficult job. The first day of work Giaccotto was looking for an emerald for Etienne, when Giaccotto arrived with the emerald his boss understood that Giaccotto was talking seriously with that evidence. Pascalli got his first goal; then, he was planning how to get revenge, he remembered that he knew how to curse perfumes, and Giaccotto wanted each member of Borelly’s family to die. He made a mortal potion that kills any alive organism in a lapse of 24 hours.
The only thing missing was just the fragrance, but it could no be a simple fragrance, he wanted that everyone liked the smell, so he started the searching of one of the best scents in the entire world, he combined the odor of the oud, the vanilla with the aroma of the pineapple, Giaccotto got a sniff of it and thought that was the best smell he could ever smelled. He combined the potion with the fragrance, after that, he arrived at the castle of Paris, and gave the perfume to the prince.
He was awesome with the things that Giaccotto had brought to him. Sir- Etienne immediately sprayed the fragrance on his body, he also asked his wife to spray it on her body, after that delight, Sir-Etienne called his child to use the lotion. Giaccotto knew that the potion function immediately with children, the kid just collapsed on his father’s arms wetting his own tears by the sadness that cornered him.
The next day, the couple couldn’t wake up alive. The rest of the servants of the palace knew that the responsible of that was Giaccotto or better known at this time as ‘The Smell Of The Death’.
