This is a romantic novel written by Tina Mag. She is a South African author and publisher. She is majoring in mathematics and computer science in her second year at the university of south africa. She loves writing and reading books of all genres and is a huge fan of Andy McNab.
This story is about a young highschool girl named Melissa. The story gives us a view on how She and her best friend Jules navigate high school when they aren't exactly the most popular people, if anything they really only have each other as friends. Although, one day, this all changes. Melissa was mistreated by some highschooler she had previously been attracted to. That same night, Xavier, the most popular and rich guy in school, broke up with his girlfriend. Melissa was shocked when one day Xavier asked her to be in a fake relationship with him so that both of them could get their revenge. Even though she was skeptical about the whole proposal, she agreed. The rest of the story unfolds their relationship, and the new found love these two characters end up developing for each other.
Characters chart on inner and physical traits:
Xavier is an athlete, so without a doubt he has muscles and is a big strong guy. Melissa and jules on the other hand are both very similar to each other, they have a big chest, are curvy, and aren't as tall. Personality wise, throughout the whole story, Jules is constantly taking charge because Mel is not as confident, so she just accepts the help from Jules. One could say she is cooperative in this aspect.
Do we recommend this story?
If one is interested in wattpad stories, then this story would be perfect. But I, on the other hand, would not recommend this book in general. I feel that the writing was not at the level I wish it had been. I feel it lacks vocabulary and grammar skills. Upon reading it I came across so many grammar mistakes that it took away from the story itself. I feel it was a very distracting factor. I also felt like it wasn't very realistic, which I can understand because at the beginning it was stated to be a wattpad story, but if you are someone that is looking for an enriching story filled with detail and beautiful writing, this story is not for you. Although it is a story that can be an entertaining quick read, It was not a story that left me speechless or much impressed.
