How would our life change due to technology?
The technological advance of the last decades has been surprising; today we talk normally about smart cars and cameras, connected appliances, drones, air taxis, and many other innovations that are viable thanks to the existence of technologies such as artificial intelligence, reality virtual and automation, and whose purpose is to make our lives easier.
In the near future, We (we) will be used to living with drones, cameras and smart screens when going to buy. These will be used both so that businesses can optimize their inventory and to collect as much information as possible from consumers (including our emotions), to please our tastes.
Mobile phones will be the ideal way to interact with stores, through mannequins with QR codes, for example, as well as to make payments.
The combination of smart cameras, shelf sensors and RFID technologies will make automated checkouts an increasingly common reality, as will autonomous online order warehouses, which will be based on robotics technology, which will bring with it many comforts to improve the quality of our lives but, in turn, it also brings changes in the way in which human beings relate to each other within the society.
Well-applied technology helps us, for example: to organize ourselves better, to learn new things, to keep track of our goals and personal progress or to shorten distances with friends or family. However, the other side of the coin is that, by not being aware, we can bombard ourselves with harmful, stressful information or look for situations in which we are exposed or at risk.
In my opinion, technology can help us in many things, such as in the health area, but there will also be a time when it will not be beneficial for us because if you relate 100% to technology you will be focused more on the technology rather than having interactions with people, our world changes faster than ever and in recent years, a number of revolutionary technologies have gone from being something of science fiction to a reality in our lives.
And what do you think about the technology of the future?
