It is difficult to be optimistic about the future in times of a climate emergency and rates of biodiversity loss unprecedented in human history.
Today, humanity has its own destiny in its hands and minds, the future belongs to us and we have known for several years what needs to be done, the problem is that we have not done it yet.
If that dreamt future is in our hands, the history of what will happen will be written by the actions of each one of us, we have the necessary tools (technology, knowledge, etc) to mitigate the impact of our attacks on the environment. We have to start respecting the Earth and life in all its diversity and ensure that the fruits and beauty of this planet persevere for present and future generations.
We all think that the future is going to be better than the present, much more technological and easier, but in reality this is uncertain because as people sometimes we do not move forward and if we do not start to change our mindset and behavior from now on, the future will not be what we are expecting now, if we do not take care of what gives us oxygen we are not taking care of anything.
