Stop Treating Me That Way.

Horror Story

After many years, Simon finally earned enough money to buy his dream house. Happily, he accepted the keys and entered the house, fascinated because of all the space inside. He walked with his mouth open in a big smile, he was excited to tell his parents he finally bought the house.

He called the moving company to have at least his bed in the new house. Thank God the company didn’t have any assigned jobs that day and could help Simon. While the company was leaving his stuff, he went to Walmart to buy food for the week. He took ketchup, fries, fruits, meat, and other things. When he returned he met the guy from the moving company but between all the stress, he was disrespectful with him and told him he was doing his job in the wrong way. Of course, the guy was confused, why someone who doesn't even know your name going to treat you rudely?

Simon didn’t notice this so he kept walking to his room and saw his bed and ran to it to take a rest without caring about the moving guy.

When he woke up, he reminded the guy and got up as fast as he could and ran downstairs but the guy left. Well, it doesn’t matter, right? He is never going to meet the guy again.

That night, it wasn't easy for Simon to sleep. He was tired but he didn’t feel comfortable. After many hours of sighing, he went to the kitchen to drink some water. When he opened the door he smelled sulfur. He was scared. Since he was a kid his mother always told him about the devil. Devil’s smell is like sulfur. But why? Simon wasn’t a guy closest to God but he believed in him. He goes to church every week and prays before sleep.

—“Okay… It doesn’t matter, it must be the neighbor that was cooking….” tried to convince himself.

As if it were a cause of fate, a mug made him jump. Scared, he ran to his room and closed the door. His breath was going faster, heartbeats were fast.

—“This is not my neighbor” said crying.

With his hand, he tried to find his phone but then he saw his broken phone beside his nightstand. That thing wasn’t working.

Instantly he heard knocks on his door. Later the window started opening and closing fast. Some paintings fell. His house was a mess. What was going on? Why his first night turned into a live nightmare.

Without knowing what to do he ran outside his house and tried to turn on his car but it didn’t work. When he noticed that it wasn’t going well, he saw a sign and remembered that the guy who helped him with the moving had a weird accent, like a Mexican.

His grandma always told him horror stories about witches in Mexico, now all had sense for him. He started crying and telling in the air that he felt so bad and asking for forgiveness and if the moving guy were there listening to him, his nightmare ended and he stopped treating people in a bad way without reason.

Simon is now a happy guy but… The moving guy is always present watching every mistake he makes. Waiting for the moment to attack and...

  kill him.      .
