RESPECT

During the respect week at American School, to be held from August 30th to September 3rd, all students are invited to be working on messages and tasks to reinforce this crucial value in order to keep healthy and harmoniuos relationships, which is why I have also written mine, a poem:

Respect

Easy to be said,

Hard to be spread,

Since lived and modeled,

It can be introjected.

Talking in retrospective,

This is a value,

Which in childhood,

Has to be prospected.

Respect has to be shed,

Mutually nourished,

It can grow up,

So, you won't be punished.

Lovely relationships,

Are built upon respect,

The very basis of friendship,

Where forgiveness you can inspect.

Falling short on respect,

Brings misunderstandings,

Deteriorating outstanding,

Prospects to later recollect.

Put it lways into practice,

Great actions come from it,

Respect is like an artist,

Brilliantly paving your deeds indeed!
