My Literary Analysis Of One of Pau's Adventures.
Theme : Paul Bunyan, giant lumberjack, mythical hero of the lumber camps in the United States, a symbol of bigness, strength, and vitality. The tales and anecdotes that form the Paul Bunyan legend are typical of the tradition of frontier tall tales.
tone : The general tone of the story is rather calm and it maintains this throughout the whole story.
mood : The mood of the story is at times humorous and calm.
conflict : The external conflict is that Benny the “little” blue ox of Paul Bunyan wanted more pancakes, so it broke loose.
climax : When Benny broke loose and started eating all the pancakes.
resolution : The resolution is that Benny ate the red hot stove.
my own ending : When Benny ate the red hot stove it started shrinking until it could fit in Paul Bunyan’s palm, so now he could be satisfied with just one pancake.
