On the Farm
On a farm on the outskirts of the city, a girl lived with her farmer father, they had many animals: cows, horses, ducks, pigs, etc, but although they had many animals, they were a little poor and had a little to eat.
One day, the farmer realized that a beautiful pig had been born, but he was short and in poor health, so the farmer decided to sacrifice it, but the girl loved the pig very much and to save it she told her father that she would take care of him, to which he agreed.
The pig was called Wilfrido and it liked to eat watermelons and apples that the little girl would secretly bring to it after school, he and the girl became great friends. The months passed and Wilfrido turned into a huge pig, and he was eating more and more, which was a problem because the family did not have much food, so when the father realized that they could no longer have it, he gave it to his brother, a man with a good economic position that took it to a large farm, where it met many other piglets; however, they did not seem to be as happy as Wilfrido, thing which was strange.
Days later, while walking through the farm, Wilfrido met a spider named Charlotte, she was very mysterious and Wilfrido was afraid of her because she ate insects, she explained that she had to eat them to be able to live and he understood her, they began to talk and she became a mother to the pig.
Another day, the spider heard a conversation between the owner of the farm and his family, in which they would have a dinner for the weekend and Wilfrido would be the main dish, so the worried spider devised a plan to save his friend.
She wrote messages in its cobwebs to avoid something terrible and she finally succeeded, they scared the family that left the pig alone.
Some time later, Charlotte got pregnant, but unfortunately she died when her little spiders were born, of the 10 born surviving little spiders, 3 were left, the other 7 were blown away by the wind; as a result, Wilfrido took care of those who survived and he told them how her mother had saved his own life.
