Adopt, don’t shop

 

Adopt don’t shop

Please just stop

Street animals are begging for a chance

Just one chance..

Look at their sad eyes in the distance

How can you be so selfish?

Do you want an animal for their looks?

There are so many animals in need

There’s no excuse, so why breed?

Love isn’t bought,

Love is taught,

But go ahead, supporting abuse

Keep ignoring and just refuse

While street animals suffer

And slowly die of hunger

I hope you feel it someday

And your world becomes like theirs, gray

Otherwise, change your mind

And a partner for life, you will find

They will always be kind

Because of grateful they’ll be, all the time.
