It's Okay to not be Okay
The Boy Who Fed on Nightmares

“It’s okay to not be okay” is a marvelous k-drama that tells the story about a psychiatric ward clerk and a woman with antisocial personality disorder, who is a popular children's book writer. About a man who denies love and a woman who doesn't know love and try to defy destiny and fall in love, finding their souls and identities in the process

But the beauty of this k-drama does not only lie on the perfectly constructed characters, or its amazing plot, but also on the multiple stories we are told as the story develops.

The main female character is a children’s book writer, but these are not the typical tales of a princess, a prince and a dragon, they are original and describe the way the characters feel, its traumas and their ghosts from the past, but also, their hope for a better future.

For this k-drama, they are not only mere stories, they are a main part of the plot and influences the way the characters behave, besides, the stories are just awesome in all the sense of the word, entertaining and with beautiful drawings.

Today we are going to talk about the first story we are told in the k-drama. “The Boy Who Fed on Nightmares”. A story about being hurt, destroyed inside, falling apart, that teaches us to become stronger and more passionate, it is definitely worth listening to it. Here we leave you two links to listen to this story. Hope you enjoy!

“Never forget today.

So, don’t forget any of it

Remember it all and overcome it

If you don’t overcome it,

You’ll always be a kid

Whose soul never grows”

“Only those with such memories

Buried deep in their hearts

Can become stronger,

More passionate,

And emotionally flexible.

And only does can attain happiness”

-The boy who fed on nightmares
