Experiment 543
Once upon a time, an odd pairing of scientists decided to help their country by experimenting with an innocent civilian after a crazy scientist messed up an experiment, which resulted in the creation and propagation of a dangerous virus.
President of Syria: We've heard that you two scientists are smart enough to find a cure to stop the propagation of this virus…
-Scientist Harry: of course we will, but we require a person to experiment with...
-Scientist Paula: We also need to take our time; this is not something to do from one night to another.
-President of Syria: Yes, I understand. Take all the time you need. If you do it successfully, your reward will be 26,000,000 dollars each. We trust you, and we’re sure that history will not repeat itself
(Both scientists look at each other while nodding)
-Both scientists: We’re on. With no more to say, goodbye.
When they finally came back to the laboratory..
- Harry: So...the president said he would bring us the person to experiment with. Are they here yet?
-Paula: No, I don’t think so. But let's prepare our formulas, and get our stuff first.
-Harry: Right. Where do we start..?
Sometime later…..
-Harry: OK, so finally, Here he is!
(Sr. Butifarra enters the room with a confused look in his face)
-Harry: Are you ready for the experiment?
-Sr. Butifarra: I’m not sure, but let's start. I guess
-Harry: Alright! Paula, do you have the combinations?
-Paula: Yes! If we had decided to use the other formula, this would've been a complete disaster, but finally, I have it. We’ve got this.
-Harry: So, here I go.. Please do not move, and don’t forget to relax.
Sr.Butifarra: Ok, please be careful..
SHICK!
-Harry: Nice. Let’s rest for a while, the only thing left is to wait. Although I don’t think there will be any secondary effects.
-Paula: Absolutely not. Let's eat something and take a breath. Let’s go somewhere else. This whole thing has completely drained the energy out of my system.
-Harry: Tell me about it! We’ve worked hard, let’s go.
Hours later…
Each decided to go to their houses and left Butifarra in the lab.
-Harry: OK, Time to watch some news to distract me!
(Weird sound): HELP!! THIS THING IS CRAJAHQKBWWV…
-Harry: What??? Oh lord, this reminds me of those terrifying movies my mom used to watch all the time; I’m scared…
(Steps are heard from afar )
(Harry notices something weird behind him)
(Harry runs to the bathroom, terrified)
-Harry: What was that?! Whatever it is, it is terrifying!!! I think it was moving!
-Paula: What a day! time to watch some Netflix to distract my mind.. (Her phone rang continuously) What's going on? Who’s calling me at this hour? (She looks at her phone, and picks up) -Harry..?
-Harry: Paula, thank lord you answered! PLEASE HELP ME, we did something wrong with the experiment!!!
-Paula: WHAT IS IT?
Breaking news!!!
-Anchor: Our local authorities have found the corpse of a dismembered girl named Carmen.
People, all of you, don’t go out. Authorities have identified an extremely dangerous beast moving around the city. Its name is Experiment 543. Please, just stay at home and lock your doors and windows. Your lives are at risk. We encourage you to be responsible and look after yourself and your family. However, not everything is bad news. -Paula: Harry was right. We made a big mistake in this experiment.
-Harry: Ok, ok, ok, I have to go to the lab to see the mistake Paula and I did, and then, we finish this, but…. How?
-Paula: Oh no, I have to leave this place as soon as possible!
They knew what they had to do, so they ran into the lab.
-Harry: Oh, God, ok, I can see the lab. I'm almost done, I believe I can reach it.
(Weird steps)
-Harry: Somebody's watching me. But I got it, I entered
-Paula: Harry, Harry, I see you, I see y……..
-Harry: Paula!!!
The monster killed Paula.
-Harry: Oh no, I'm the only one missing! I'm going to correct the formula. I need to fix this!
(Harry locked all the doors and windows of the lab)
-Harry: OK, let's see, so this was the mistake. I need time to finish this!
5 minutes later…
(weird barks)
-Harry: Oh no, he already entered, but I already finished the cure, there he is!!!!
The monster cut Harry's arm, but Harry successfully put the cure on the beast and finally killed the monster.
After that, he heard the sound of a helicopter near him.
-Pilot: You guy, come here, I'll save you!!
The helicopter dropped a rope.
Harry: I'm almost done!!! I almost got the rope!!
Weird noise….
It was Paula.
Pilot: Run!!!!
Each step Harry did made him feel exhausted, until he finally fainted and got killed.
No survivors.
