Movie Review

Divergent
A movie that will remain in our memory forever is entitled as “Divergent”, which is set in the future, in a dystopian version of a city that has been divided into five factions: Abnegation, Candor, Amity, Dauntless, and Erudite. The protagonist and narrator is a sixteen-year-old girl from Abnegation named Beatrice Prior (Tris). In this city when they turn sixteen years-old, the government tests them and tells them which of the factions they are best suited for, then they attend the Choosing Ceremony, where they must decide whether to stay in her family’s faction or leave it behind.

When the leader tested Tris, she found out that she was suited for multiple factions, meaning she’s what’s known as Divergent, the woman warns her not to tell anyone because being Divergent in that city was a threat to the government.

According to us this is the movie of all times, it combines each and every aspect we demand from a film such as the drama, romance, action, fiction and more. Not only are the main characters hot, but their personalities are very relatable, since Tris is once a shy girl, then becoming a strong, independent, brave woman that will fight for her place even if she is destined to be left out, and Four is a very protective, intelligent, serious, agile man, with which many people can relate due to the fact that he was abused by his father when he was just a boy, and the actors that portray them give them life perfectly.

When you watch this movie, you feel every single emotion: impotence, anger, sadness, love a rollercoaster of emotions, it is an adventure and you are right by the actors side throughout the movie.

Now talking about the filming, images and sound, it is pretty obvious the quality of the scenes, the special effects seem very real, and each sound was chosen specifically and strategically for each moment.

Finally, we strongly feel that the script is very beautiful and innovative and we congratulate everyone that made part of the creation of this movie.
