The One-Legged Woman
This is the legend about a woman who was cheating on
hier husband with the owner of the farm they worked on.
Her husband was noticing
some changes on his wife, so a friend of him told him about the affaire; however, the
man needed to see by himself to believe it.
So, he told his wife that he was
going on a trip, but he didn’t go anywhere and he rather stayed spying on her. Then, at night he
saw how his chief went to his wife’s room and kissed her.
As a result, he was furious when he
saw them. In his anger he rushed to cut his wife’s leg and he killed both of
them.
He later went to jail for the murders. Now, it is said that the woman lives on farms and she haunts men, she tricks them and makes them follow her into the woods
and when they are there, she shows her awful face, her only leg, and scares them to death.
