Problems in the Quality of Air and Water from Industries and Constructions
There are a lot of countries which economy is based in the industries that they have, the thing is that many of these countries are more interested in the money they make, that in the damage they are causing to the environment, without acknowledging that it is our source of life. The air and the water are one of the most affected by the chemicals produced by the industries.
This Essay is going to show issues in the Quality of air and water, in many Developing countries in the world.
The Oxford dictionary defines that pollution is the presence in or introduction into the environment of a substance which has harmful or poisonous effects.
Nowadays the air Pollution is raising, for example, Bangkok, The Thai Pollution Control Department reports that excessive PM2.5 particulate is currently on the rise in the capital, suburbs and two neighbouring provinces. This issue is affecting the population health and the development of their daily activities according to the Thai PBS World Thai government is to roll out the water cannons and requests for people to only use their cars if necessary. Meanwhile, the main polluters – factories, dirty diesel buses and regional burn-offs – continue unabated.
air isn’t the only one affected, water is also polluted by all this industries, Indonesia Investments states that domestic and industrial waste is continuously being discharged into rivers, causing that most river water in Indonesia is polluted. The growing population and industrialization only exacerbates the situation. This situation is alarming and people should take it more seriously, and start being conscious about the damage they are causing.
Everything can change, but for that to happen there needs to be a compromise from the government and the managers of the industries, the government needs to create laws to help the environment, laws that prevent this industries, from polluting air or water. The Philippines already have a law to protect the water, which the, REPUBLIC ACT 9275 PHILIPPINE CLEAN WATER ACT OF 2004. Many countries should do it and make sure that these laws are followed.
In conclusion the most important things are that we as
humans need to be conscious and see that the damage we do to the environment we do it to ourselves, we are ruining our Quality of life. People in power should help to stop this, not to promote it, we need to be aware and take care of our planet and ourselves.
