Adventure story

The Traveling Girl

Mila was an orphaned girl who loved to travel. Her favorite hobby was sneaking into people's cars and taking advantage to move back and forth. She was also a little irresponsible and loved going hidden in people's cars, so avoided having to spend the little money I had. Thanks to her ability to hide and sneak out of car windows, she had known many parts of the world.

In the cockpit of a truck, she arrived in the French countryside where she met some very friendly twins. In a bread delivery van, she made it all the way to the coast and, along the way, she was able to taste many types of pieces of bread. And in the trunk of a delivery bike, she came to the mountain. The truth is that it was the trip she least liked. On the cars, it was much hotter and more comfortable than on that bike.

By the time Mila turned 10, she had already traveled thousands of miles of incognito. In all her adventures, she tried not to get too far away, so she wouldn't get lost and could be able to return home safe and sound. When she felt she had already gone too far, she took advantage of any slot in the window to escape.

One day, she didn't have it that easy. She had sneaked into a
family's car and, halfway through, it started pouring. As a result, no one dared to open the back of the car and Mila couldn't sneak out.

The car kept rolling and, when Mila could tell, they were 2,000 kilometers from her city. As soon as she saw an open door, she went crazy, so she could get out. She had a hard time stabilizing because she got out of the car a little dizzy.

Mila, "The Traveling Girl", when got far enough away from the car, she looked around and found out she had no idea where she was. She waited until she met a child who kindly offered to help her. He explained to her that she was in Italy and that in one day, a freight train would depart from the station and take her back home.

Mila, on the other hand, was distressed but on the other, she was happy to know she could return home. After a couple of hours, the boy invited Mila to eat ice cream and she gladly accepted. Mila asked very curiously about her new friend's life and that child answered all questions.

The boy, named Frederick, also asked questions to Mila but the hardest was "and your parents?" Mila didn't know how answering was so scary, just to say that she didn't have parents and that they left her alone. But she knew she shouldn't lie to him so she told him the truth, The surprised kid replied: "Don't you know anything?" I don't have any dads either, Mila. She was surprised by his confession, all she could think of was hugging him.

So many hours had passed and Mila and Federico had become very close. The two were happy because they finally had someone who understood one another, made a couple of friends, were scolded by a granny because they stole candies in her shop. In conclusion, that had been the best day of their lives.

When the night came Frederick offered Mila to stay to sleep with him in his refuge and the very dubious girl accepted because she had nowhere to go and the night was very cold.

The next day, Mila got up early and woke Frederick up too, the two went out looking for food for breakfast, when they found a bakery they put together a plan to get food. When they had everything planned they set in, Frederick was distracting the clerk and Mila stole some bread. Therefore, Frederick became ill and when he managed to get the distraction of the people, Mila stole the bread, but the baker noticed it, so he ran out after the children and grabbed them.

Later, the baker threatened to call the police, but Frederick explained everything to him and the gentleman moved by his story, gave them a bag full of bread. Mila and Frederick thanked the baker and left happily with their bread bag.

It was about time Mila left, Frederick was very sad and so was Mila. When they heard the beep that reminded her that the train was about to leave Mila and Frederick hugged very tightly. Mila ran and Frederick only saw her walking away, turned around, and left with her head down. Mila knew she was going to miss her home, but couldn't get away from the only person who had become important to her, thought about it for a minute and already knew what she was going to do.

Mila ran very fast to catch up with Frederick and when she saw him he shouted his name and he stopped, could not believe that Mila had stayed when they met again, the two hugged and went for an adventure together.
