Different Ways

EMILY

Hi!, my name is Emily, I’m in 6th grade and I live with my father, who is a teacher, but my mom died 2 years ago. 

I go to school at 7:50 a.m. …Oh, no! I’m late!, I arrive to school at 8:10 a.m. I don’t have any friends because I learn the topics in another way, different  than the others, since I’m blind.

My father helps me to learn with music or he reads a book for me.  

We go to the park everyday, so I know all of the things about

it: the texture of a tree, a flower, an animal. I know all of these, thanks to him. He is a wonderful person, a wonderful dad.
