Trip that ends up in tragedy

Two Colombians died and two other nationals are in serious health after their vehicle crashed into a tree when they were traveling to Florida in the United States. The accident occured Friday November the 22nd when a group of 5 people were traveling from Houston, Texas to Miami, Florida.

One of the victims is Laura Espinoza, a 24 year old from Antioquia, who graduated as a lawyer at the Universidad Autónoma Latinoamericana this year. The young woman had traveled about a month ago with her mother, Nora Castrillón, and her boyfriend, Cristian Castrillón, to spend a few days on vacation in Miami and find new opportunities, according to those close to the family.



They traveled with the company of Carlos Álvarez, a 19 year old family member, who was driving the car, lost its control of and got off the road, while driving through a sector known as Holt, in Okaloosa County, Florida. The accident happened around 6 am last Friday. Both Laura, and Carlos died in the accident.

Currently the family in Medellin is worried about getting the victim' corpses and urges to receive them in order to proceed with their grief.
