We have all heard about a twisty villain, that always seems to find his way out of Arkham Asylum, he always has a desire for unbridled chaos in Gotham City, and that is why Batman always confronts him, till the point that you can even consider that they need each other. From all villains he is probably the most unpredictable, because we never know what’s on his plans, and he might not have any plans at hand, and proceeds to act with spontaneity.
One thing that remains a mystery is the Joker’s origins.. Who is he? Where did he come from? What is the reason behind his acts?
And although some movies and comics have come out, we finally have on the table a clear answer about the life of this acclaimed character.
“JOKER” is a film directed by Todd Phillips, which was released on October 3rd, and currently it keeps on being the #1 Movie in the world! It has definitely had a great success. The movie shows the events that led Arthur to be the Joker, and it portrays the villain as a comedian full of dreams, but with many problems around him, anxiety, intolerance, and political oppression.
It is an INTENSE movie; therefore, is obvious that this was going to be a controversial one, due to the fact that it shows everything without any kind of filter! And some of the critics say that it incites violence.
The leading role is the actor Joaquin Phoenix. He said that it was a hard decision to accept the role, for the movie he had to lose 54 pounds, but there’s is no doubt he did an outstanding performance on this challenging role!
