Truly False
Our world nowadays evolves pretty much around money and does it. Now it seems that the more money you have, the more attention you will get. Bill was that kind of man that really enjoyed having a luxurious life by buying very expensive cars, big mansions and designer clothes. He was a single man with no kids living in his mansion with no company at all.
There was always a time when Bill felt
lonely and sad but being known as the richest man around the town made him feel
a little bit better about his life. Despite of having a lot of women hitting on
him constantly, he rejected every single one of them because they were not rich
enough for him. On a regular morning in
town, Bill heard a rare rumor about a wealthy woman moving in that day. He felt
a bit intimidated by her, due to the fact that she was kind of stealing his
spotlight.
Bill needed to see with his own eyes what was so amazing
about that woman that it had everyone talking about her. He went for a walk and after some minutes he ran into a tall woman with light, pale skin wearing a really fancy red dress with some black high heels. Bill instantly knew she was the woman they all were talking about just by looking at her because no one in that town dressed like that. He got the chance to talk to her about their possessions and riches while getting to the conclusion that she had more money than him.

When
he arrived home he felt like he needed to buy more stuff in order to overcome
her and not feel intimidated by her. Bill bought various mansions, expensive shoes
and a lot of jewelry which ended up with him having a bunch of debts. After the
women noticed what he bought she got herself a new private jet and other things
which made Bill envy her even more. He started to buy compulsively until he ran
out of money and got to the point where he lost it all. He went to live with
her mom because he was not stable enough to be living by his own.
He lost every
single thing he had, every mansion, shoe or jewel. Bill got a new job where he
was paid the minimum salary and did not earn half of what he did before. Months
later, while reading the newspaper, Bill found out that the very rich woman he
knew before, was actually a drug dealer who eventually got arrested and all was
taken away from her.
He realized that he let his life go to waste because of a woman who seemed like a completely different person from who she really was. Appearances seem to rule over the world now, but do not let them fool you. Not everyone is who they claim to be. Bill had to learn that by the hard way.
