Savior of the Future

Tommy was a fifteen-year-old who lived at an orphanage since his parents died in a car accident when he was three years old, he was a lonely and introverted boy.

In the nights, he always prayed to God for someone to adopt him, get out of that horrible place and finally have the opportunity to be happy.

One night, he heard a weird noise coming off the window and when Tommy looked through the window he immediately saw a boy in a weird artifact which looked like a skateboard that could fly. Tommy, surprised, asked who he was and the mysterious boy entered the room, later explained to him that his name was Alex and he came from the future with a machine that he made.

Tommy was more confused and surprised than before, he didn’t know how to believe him, so Alex kept explaining that Tommy needed to help him to save the planet and that he needed to trust him and go with him.

Tommy didn’t know what to think, the only thing that hey knew is that he wanted to get out of that place, so he went with him to the future.

Tommy kept looking around because he couldn’t believe what he was seeing, in the future there was not a single tree, grass or any kind of nature, it was all made with technology and in addition all was sad and turned off, so Tommy asked to Alex where the trees, the light, the happiness, and the nature were, to which he answered that years ago all the nature ended because of their past generations.

Tommy realized that even if he was a boy, he needed to go

back to his present and save the planet with the help of Alex, so they went back to save the Earth. But suddenly, there was a problem, the artifact to come back to the past didn’t work, so he had to go all around the city with Alex looking for parts to fix it, but the problem with those parts was that they were too expensive, each part cost 1 million dollars.

Alex and Tommy had to make all that money as soon as possible, they worked in different jobs, they made a mini-enterprise, they sold things, but Tommy noticed that he had something that could change the things he had in his pocket: a “Toys R’ Us” toy that he always carried not to be bored, as they were in the future.

That toy was extremely expensive, so he went to the first pawn shop he saw and tried to sell it, at the end of the day he sold the toy for 25 million dollars. After that, Tommy and Alex fixed the artifact to go to the past, and they went to it.

When Tommy got to the normal space and time, he worked really hard to make people realize that what they were doing would end with our nature and planet, Tommy started to get known as the savior of our planet.

A kind family finally adopted him and he grew up to become a true savior of our Earth, teaching others how to take care of it.
