Pain Relievers, Are They Killers?

American Doctor Accused of Killing Multiple  Patients Using Pain Killers

An American physician from Ohio was charged on Wednesday, June 5th with 25 counts of murder for allegedly ordering fatal doses of painkillers to patients. According to authorities, William Husel, 42, ordered doses between 2015 and 2018 but has pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him.

Franklin County Prosecutor, Ron O'Brien, has pointed out that authorities have focused on cases involving Husel where he prescribed at least 500 micrograms or more of fentanyl.

"The experts we spoke to have said, with certainty, that a dose at that level could not support any legitimate medical purpose and that a dose at that level would cause the death of a person," O'Brien.

This is the resulting effect of a society that has doctors working for the pharmaceutical labs, prescribing a synthetic opioid pain reliever and other more dangerous painkillers like the one this article talks about, but have forgotten about their patients' mental and physical health.
