Final Of The League Eagle
Junior and Deportivo Pasto played their match
of the first semester of the league and thus they reached the final.
1. Junior was first of its group and beat National 3-2 in Medellín; however, Tolima
won 2-1 Cali but not reached the goal difference.
2. Deportivo Pasto was first in the group after beating the Union Magdalena 3-0 in Ipiales, as Millionaires was beaten by America
2-1 in Bogota.
The first match was on Saturday in Barranquilla
and Junior beat Pasto 1-0 and the second was in Bogotá because the
municipal stadium of Ipiales only has a capacity of 2,000 people.
After the regular time, Junior Beat Deportivo Pasto and was awarded their historical 9th star, being its second won championship in a row during this 2019, tying Atlético Nacional which was also a bichampion during 2007.
