Leaders: Born or Made?
Do you think that leaders are born with the ability to
lead, or do you think they develop their leadership skills? Why?
Since the existence of the humans, there have always been people in the world who guide us to be where we are, but what we do not know is who
taught that person to be a good leader, how many times failed in the attempt to
be, or if it is something innate in the human being that makes from him a great leader.
Being a good leader is a person who guides others towards
success and when there is a negative opinion, he is responsible to encourage
others; is a person who has the tenacity to not succumb to pressure, and be
patiently fighting until you win the day to day battle, and sometimes being able to do
all the three mentiones aspects at the same time.
According to scientists, people can become leaders through
the process of teaching,
learning and observation. Leadership is a set of
skills that can be learned by training, perception, practice and experience
over time. Leadership learning is a lifetime activity. So, good leaders seek out
development opportunities that will help them learn new skills.
In my opinion, being a leader is something you're born
with and can perfect over time with education, training and experience. It
all depends on how one defines leadership. It is possible depending
on how you define leadership, but everyone can lead and become a leader.
