On Survival

On Survival

We cannot pretend to live in a world in which many animals are dying because of us, it is our fault that their lives and species end. We cannot go on with this attitude, as if anything is happening. Because of having work by destroying the habitats of the animals, because of selling their skin, they die and little by little they become extinct.

So we must do something, we must work for it, we must fight for it, for a better world, for a better planet, for a world in which the extinction of animals doesn’t exist! We must work with perseverance, in order to be resilient enough to end up with this problem.

Right below I will list some species that nowadays are on the brink of extinction so you guys can understand a little more of this important issue:

BLACK RHINO and MALAYAN TIGER In an enormous setback for wildlife conservation, China announced it will allow hospitals to use tiger bone and rhino horn from captive-bred animals for traditional medicine. The decision reverses a decades-old ban that has been instrumental in preventing the extinction of endangered tigers and rhinos.

SEA TURTLE-The Hawksbill Turtle, in the past 100 years, the Hawksbill Turtle has lost 90 percent of its population, 80 percent of which has been lost in the past 10 years.

SUMATRAN ELEPHANT- In the past 25 years, the Sumatran Elephant has lost an astounding 70% of its habitat to deforestation for palm oil plantations, agriculture, and human settlements.

And last but not least, the TIGER- The tiger has long been
hunted for its distinctive patterned fur. Of the nine tiger subspecies, three are already extinct, many are endangered but it is the South China Tiger and the Sumatran Tiger that currently face the biggest threat to their survival.

Aren't you yet prone to doing anything?
