Ignorance

It all began with the simple desire for fashion, which made the first boots with a very dried snake's skin just to fill up with the richest. 

A snake's breeder collects all their eggs, so when they are ready to be born, they let them grow to later kill them and steal their beautiful skin. 

They do not settle for that alone, they want more and more, so one day one of them decided to go to the swamps, those either near or far, for getting the best skins in an illegal and secret hunt for crocodiles of bright and green skin to start with the market of the best handbags in the world, destroying habitats without any compassion. Nowadays, they even have leather farms where those poor animals suffer a lot.

Not only did he kill animals for their beautiful, soft and shiny skins, he also destroyed the forest, the prairies, the rivers, and the seas, just to start with his big factories, filling the oceans with waste and polluting the habitats of the fish, but not only that, do you want to know what was the worst part? He buys and contacts more than 100 people with experience in illegal fishing, and then the maritime disaster began.

They started fishing the smallest fish in the ocean, then gradually grew and grew until they finished with the sharks and whales, ending with the food chain of animals for their different flavors or just for a simple shark fin soup. 

Did he not realize that he was damaging the lives of living creatures or living things? The excuse that he gave us was that as they eat us, we had to do the same with them, but I don’t find any logic in that answer. What he does not realize is that every shark attack or any other animal is not because they are thirsty for our blood, NOO!, it is because we have invaded their space, their habitats and they just want to protect themselves from the damage we cause.

There is so much to talk about that but if I continue talking about this, I’ll probably not finish; however, what I want you to know is that this is a WAR that we live every day. Enough, enough please, from so much cruelty, enough already, they are living beings like us.

I want to speak for them and say that they are suffering, that they only want to go on with their lives just as we want to go on with ours. People do not realize that we NEED THEM. And not only from animals but also from plants, the clean air, the sun, all those resources that life gives us, though we destroy them, little by little, thanks to our abundant ignorance. We are not able to understand the wrongs we cause to ourselves, the last thing that I want to say is to PLEASE, take care of our planet Earth because even if you do not see it that way, the Earth is our HOME!.
