Animals On The Verge Of Extinction

Animals On The Verge Of Extinction

Every day, species around the planet are going extinct and
for each one of them, many more become and remain endangered due to habitats loss, poaching, and climate change.

For millions of years, our planet has been destroyed little by us, humans. We cannot control ourselves, we cannot control throwing wastes: bags, plastics and all these stuff that harm animals that live on our same planet. It is unacceptable that many species are on the brink of extinction just because of our fault. It is time to change the “sim card” and do something to stop this enormous problem. What can we do? What are those values that we have to take into account in order to act in a good way with animals?

These are questions that round in our minds, let's be conscious and answer them so we can change the world, making it a better place, for you and for me and the entire human race, as well as for species such as:

The Bornean Orangutan, an animal that has suffered from habitat loss (forests are turned into rubber, oil palm or paper plantations) and illegal hunting.

Amur Leopard: It is now found only in the Amur River basin of eastern Russia, having already gone extinct from China and the Korean Peninsula.

The Red Wolf: There are now only around 25 to 40 left in the wild, and they all live in Eastern North Carolina.

Green Turtle: It is one of the largest sea turtles and the only herbivore among the different species. They migrate long distances between feeding grounds and the beaches from where they hatched.

Red Panda: Climate change is impacting them, with less than 10,000 left in the wild.

These are only a few examples of animals that are on the verge of extinction but there are many more. Millions of species are going extinct and because of that they disappear. Humans are making efforts and campaigns in which they show the importance of taking care of the planet, in which they illustrate the Earth and compare its before and after, so in this way we can see all the damage that we have caused.

All these things are not enough to end up with this problem
that threatens species to become extinct, those precious species that God has given us, so we must persevere and work harder to achieve our goal. We must work all together in order to be resilient enough not to give up and finally be successful. God is showing us that we need to change our actions for the health of our planet.
