Laura and Camila, were two best friends since birth that
always played and were together at school. One day, the science
teacher asked the classroom to pair up and obviously Laura and Camila took sides on the same team, but the teacher said that they needed to design a presentation about climate
change and Laura always cared about the environment; despite everything, Camila didn’t care at all,
so Laura told Camila that she needed to investigate about the damage that waste
water makes to it.
The next day, they paired up again and Laura asked Camila what
she investigated about; however, Camila told Laura that she didn’t do it at all
because that topic was stupid. Laura got mad because she thought the topic was
very important, but she relaxed and explained the importance that saving water
makes to the planet, though Camila didn’t listen to her; therefore, Laura avoided
to fight and decided to change her topic ,so she asked Camila to research about
deforestation, but the same thing happened: she didn’t care at all.
Laura was so upset; even though, she decided to change her
topic again to the damage caused on the ocean by throwing garbage, but guess
what happened?... Camila said again that those things were not real, as a
result, she didn’t do anything at all.
What Camila didn’t know was that Laura was a fairy and she
had the power to see the world in the future, so she made the decision to take
Camila to an adventure to see how the world would look if people didn’t make any
change.
When they arrived, Camila got very scared because everything
was very ugly, the fishes were dead, there were no forests nor water.
Camila learned that she needed to take care of the
environment because maybe the bad things don’t occur immediately, but they might
become real in a close future.
