Soul

When you are planning to travel with your friends you probably never expect for anything weird to happen; however, this group of friends didn’t know the nightmare that was coming for them this winter. 

It was the first day of winter vacations and Jenn was very excited to finally see her friends, she packed all her clothes and stuff and then was ready to go, she was just waiting for Sam to pick her up. Even though Jenn was excited, she had a really weird feeling about their trip, something felt out of place, but she figured it was only because of her excitement. 

Sam picked up  everyone and they were all in the car singing and having a good time when suddenly the sky started to turn into a grey color and the wind was getting very strong and out of control, so much that it was getting hard for Sam to drive correctly; therefore, they decided to make a quick stop at a gas station. Gaby , who was one of their friends was feeling a little sick, then she had to go to the bathroom while everyone waited in the car. 

Minutes passed and Gaby wasn’t coming out of the bathroom, which is why Jenn decided to go check on her but when she tried to open the door, it was stuck. Her friends noticed that their doors were stuck too and none of them could get out of the car, suddenly they saw gaby’s shadow running  out of the bathroom heading to the car, though no one knew why she was running, she got to the car and they realized all her face was full of blood and opened wounds. 

“He’s coming!” she yelled , but no one was able to open the doors or even break the windows, so she told them to go while crying.  She insisted that they had to go as fast as they could because something very dark and twisty was coming for them , something no one could ever imagine, something everyone should be afraid of. 

Despite they didn’t want to leave her there while she was bleeding out, they couldn’t find another option, but to go and not look back. In spite Jenn tried to call an ambulance, no one was answering the phone. Before they were about to leave, Sam saw something coming out of the bathroom, where Gaby was  and pointed out at it. She turned to look and when she turned her head back, her eyes were fully black and her body started to shake , so clearly that’s when they finally left as fast as the car could, very far from there , everyone was shocked but most of all , scared. 

They didn’t know where to go , the wind was still strong and the sky was turning darker every second , at some point Sam couldn’t drive anymore because the car was driving itself , Sam tried to control it but he couldn’t. After a few minutes the car stopped by a small store and its doors opened out of nowhere , they didn’t want to get out of the car and everyone replied that they shouldn’t go to that store,  but suddenly black smoke started to come out of the car and they had to get of it fast.

They were forced to go into the store because it was freezing outside and they didn’t want to  turn into an ice stone. While inside everything seemed calmed and normal, for once in that trip, until all the doors and windows broke and the shattered glass was all over the floor, the wind started to hit and a weird dark fog was coming out of nowhere, so they couldn’t see exactly what was going on, but Jenn heard something walking near her, she felt how some long and harsh hands crawled into her neck , a very deep voice whispered into her ear “ That precious soul of yours is now mine , there’s not a thing you can do to save your friends, but to give your soul to me, I don’t think you would like to end up like Gaby did , don’t you ?” 

At this point , Jenn didn’t know what to do but screamed, she screamed as loud as she could but no one listened, it was as if she weren’t even there, no one looked at her or  helped her, she tried to run, but then she couldn’t move, so she gave up.  It was time, she had to do it for her friends.

She laid down on the floor closing her eyes and felt how she was going into a different state of mind. 

3 months later 

Everyone knew the case of Jenn Anderson, the girl who killed every single one of her friends inside a store far from the city, no one knew why she did that or any logic reasons for getting to do so, but everyone did know she couldn’t be trusted, no one could go near her , not even her family could see her because they didn’t know where she was.
