THE SPIRIT WORLD REPRESENTED IN THIS WEST AFRICAN FOLK TALE
1: I guessed the truth about Meiji the moment he wore a red scarf all the time and when his daughter asked him why his clock was always pointed to the same time: 12:00 p.m. representing that he already died in the afternoon.
2:
3. The moment Meji tells his Mother thanks for everything despite her not knowing he was already dead, it represents the importance of life and that you don't know how much time you have, it is clearly shown in the story because Meji despite being dead wanted to thank his Mother for everything, including the chance she gave him to live.
4. I think those words were nostalgic, although the magician told Bola she is just a stubborn woman, she says she's so proud to see her son for the last time and that maternal feeling is something he couldn't just understand.
By showing the true feelings and love of unity that a family has, it is a feeling that whether being in Colombia or in Asia will be present because it is just a universal value every family has.
- Nicolas Winton: He saved around 700 judge people from Nazi Germans.
Desmond 2: He risked his life in order to save around 70 injured allies during war without any armor or a single gun.
A difference between them and Bola is that they 2 don't really need a maternal love in order to risk their lives to save the others, they just do it because of their good heart and live for what is right.
7. The evidence I found about an old tradition being broken by this story is the fact of celebrating the arrival of somebody special, but in the case of Meji, he didn't want anybody to celebrate his arrival, just his family and himself.
