There really is such a thing called "the arrival of men on the moon? Is the moon landing theory real? Did the astronauts really reach the moon, or did they just leave the planet?
There are exaggerated amounts of questions regarding the same topic, and it goes round and round under the same questions mentioned above. From the Earth being flat to a shadowy group called the Illuminati controlling the world, conspiracy theories are everywhere.
But, it wasn't enough, because many doubts arose after Apollo 11, the mission that could have carried out this theory.
Think internally if you really believe in this theory...
As there are so many theories, investigations and comments regarding this, many controversies arose, as reality was distorted.
Fifty years ago, a theory opened the field for new research, Apollo 11, a trip that discovered, updated and spoke of something that had never been mentioned before... the first men on the moon.
The arrival of Apollo 11 on the Moon was a big step for (a) man, a great leap for humanity, and a decisive event for the United States in the space race against the Soviet Union.
Who carried this project? Three minds, just humans, rather, three men were the ones who "stepped on" the moon, which theoretically was not as dramatic or as exaggerated as they usually mention. So what happened?
The Three American astronauts Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin and Michael Collins set out for the Moon on July 16th, 1969, just 8 years after Yuri Gagarin, a Soviet cosmonaut, became the first man to reach space.
But not everything was like being on the moon or in a world full of roses; therefore, many investigations came to light stating that this event was a lie. How this mission was carried out in an unusual way, since there was no need to go to the moon, then as so much information was provided through magazines and newspapers, there was so much commotion, to say "at last the humans reached the moon", " three heroes stepped on the lunar surface”, and so many theories came to light saying that this was a simple lie. Even, to be more exact, there were six theories and investigations that, over time, gave more meaning. This is how Michael Rich, professor of astronomy at the University of California in Los Angeles, said in 2017 he presented BBC NEWS with the six conspiracy theories, which are anonymous for the protection of rights and support which cannot be violated.
But what happens if we change sides? if we go in favor of this theory? Well, there is also data that proves that going to the moon was true, why? Because it was such an important fact that its importance and veracity were recognized even by the Soviet scientific and intelligence agencies, enemies of the Americans during the Cold War.
And as proof of this, during the 21 hours and 36 minutes that Armstrong and Aldrin spent on the Moon, they left some scientific devices for a program called Passive Seismic and Lunar Seismic Profiles, that aimed at detecting tectonic movements in the plates that make up that light blue body. Thanks to them, in 2011 the signals of an earthquake that occurred more than 1,500 kilometers deep, almost in the very center of the Moon, were captured.
Armstrong and Aldrin also placed a series of retroreflectors, a kind of mirror that reflects laser signals sent from Earth to calculate the distance between the two.
But the different theories, supported by some films and books - without scientific foundation - are usually associated with some peculiarities of the photos taken by the Apollo 11 expedition, the first to reach the Moon.
There are basically four details, although many other photos have also raised conjectures:
The fact that the flag that Armstrong sticks on the Moon seems to move when the absence of atmosphere on the Moon means that there is no wind.
A footprint left by Armstrong that, for some, is not justified given the dryness of the satellite's soil.
You can't see the stars in the photos
No crater is seen under the lander when it landed.
At the end of the BBC NEWS interview with Mr. Rich, he assured that it was not worth concentrating on small details, since it was proven. Then, there is an explanation behind each of them.
The flag moved when planted and then remained in that position.
Moondust is quite similar to volcanic ash, so fingerprints can be left on it.
The stars are not seen because it was too weak a light to be captured by the camera.
A crater did not form because the module descended at such a slow rate that it only kicked up dust.
Without much more to say and affirming that the possible arrival on the moon is more true than false, I put my faith in that the astronauts did reach it and that they were surely dazzled by such a beautiful body of blue light. Now, what do you think of Apollo 11, is it a reality or a conspiracy lie? Draw your own conclusions.
Thank you.
