It is really difficult to predict the future, continue the path or leave everything, but my life has been a roulette without end. I have no name, no age, gender or characteristics similar to those of a human. So what am I? I identify myself depending on where I am: the people, the weather, the feelings, well, basically depending on my environment. It's kind of weird, but I'm immortal and I've been around longer than you think. I live in a place without color, without emotions and without the ability to adapt that humans have. But well, not everything is as strange as it sounds, since I am part of an organization to save stars, which have suffered damage thanks to universal contamination.
Soon I will be part of a very important trip for which I have been training for months; I had to prepare myself physically and mentally since going back to space is more difficult than it seems. Oh, I forgot to tell, I was born in space and with my brothers, we are cornered in a part of the planet that nobody knows, a place that no human can reach: the center of the earth. Therefore, my species and I are trying to get out of the human world with the help of the aforementioned organization.
We were ready, everything was predisposed for the plan to go perfectly, but like anything that was too beautiful for reality, everything went wrong. Starting with the organization, since everyone arrived late; the engine failed and the ship did not start, and so thousands of events happened to not be able to get out. Fear took over me and from one moment to another the inexplicable tears began to brush my cheeks and with my mind, I interpreted all the pain that those poor stars may be feeling. That's why I decided to create a new ship so that my nine brothers and I could say goodbye to earth. Seven months passed and I felt myself being free again, and that was a fulfillment.
However, reaching the stars was not so easy, since time on earth stopped; It was me alone against the world, or well, against statues since no one moved. It was terrifying to see how from one moment to another my brothers and friends were stopped by a strange breeze. What was that? And why was I not frozen? Many questions and uncertainty came over me. but well, I took the flight by myself and I realized that it wasn't an internal problem, it was that the stars were so, so sick, that they collapsed and released a magical dust, better known as "the irreversible". Just hearing that, my whole body froze and I couldn't think of anything but a solution to this chaos.
I returned to my community and as I could I created an incredibly functional powder that was going to be the salvation. The recipe, mmm no, I can't tell it, it's something confidential but thanks to this I was able to save my friends, my brothers and my whole community.
We took off and in the first hours of flight, we met the stars. It's not really as dramatic as they taught us in class, but helping them and being able to communicate with them was everything. Now we are free and little by little we are bringing our entire community, so that we can all feel this beautiful sensation.
The End
