7. In your opinion, could climate change lead to the end of life on Earth?
From the meteorological point of view, climate change is called the alteration of the prevailing conditions. This variation is due to natural causes and the action of men and occurs on all climatic parameters: temperature, rainfall, cloudiness, etc. Climate change affects us all. The potential impact is enormous, with predictions of a lack of clean water, large changes in conditions for food production, and an increase in death rates due to floods, storms, droughts, and heat waves.
Climate change will induce the extinction of many species that will not be able to adapt. The effect of global warming is already noticeable in species that show alterations in their habits, in their geographical distribution or even in their organisms, many will not be able to adapt and will die out.
Is it possible that natural factors cause the warming?
Not really, in theory, they could. For example, if the Sun began to emit more radiation, it would ultimately increase the temperature of the Earth. However, scientists have looked closely at the natural factors known to affect planetary temperature and found that they are changing almost nothing. Warming is extremely fast on the geological time scale, and no other factor can explain it as well as human-generated greenhouse gas emissions.
I sincerely believe that climate change affects the lives of human beings, animals and plants, since simple acts such as going out in the car or agriculture, emit gases for its fulfillment, without thinking about the effect on planet earth.
