The Body as a Source of Welfare: The Science Behind Love

Before we start, let's talk a little about the relationship between science and love.

In recent years, science has tried to discover what drives us to fall in love and what processes are carried out in our brain when this happens; love has a great impact on our lives, C

changes our behavior, our mood, and many of our thoughts.

The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) through its Museum of Sciences, Universum, released a series of scientific data on love, one of them is "addictive love":

The pleasure and euphoria that people experience when being with a loved one, is due to the secretion of dopamine in the brain, a neurotransmitter that has a powerful reward system and creates a kind of "need" to be with that special someone, added to the cortisol that makes us feel obsessed by the desired person.

We do not have much experience, but we believe that we have all had this feeling through life, it does not have to be your boyfriend or husband to feel that pleasure and euphoria, you can also feel it towards a family member, friend and in some cases even your pet .

But something that must be recognized is that thanks to this feeling, the human being has managed to exalt himself as he is today, not because of anything, but because love helps us to understand ourselves and our behavior.

Love helps us develop.
