Picture this, a young town, the most populated town. Where teens went to pursue and achieve their dreams, lots of educational opportunities and brilliant children. The sun seemed to shine there but not for long.
This town seemed isolated from the rest of the world's traditions and manners, while in this town was ruled basically by clever women, the rest was a men's world where women were left in a corner or well at home.
The town was kind of a small paradise for those who could find it, it is very curious to people that spread the town's story now how everybody knew the town but the wrong people never could find it. But it wasn’t the people trying to reach this town the ones who caused the curse, it was actually someone born there.
Theodor Nott was a teenager, son of the town’s governor and a legit citizen there. While growing up he seemed like every other kid and the whole town knew him because of his mom and it kinda got annoying for them. He was the kid that stood out among the others but he just wanted to be like everyone else, to be a nobody. But what Theo desired brought hell to his young village

About two years before graduating high school and while planning to leave his hometown Theo met Seren, a redhead young lady that had just switched states. For her, he was nothing different than any other man she had met, which drew Theo’s attention and caused him to spend time with her, to get to know her. He was interested and he invested lots of time with her, finally someone treated him nice because of himself and not for who he was, which got him to develop feelings for Seren and eventually she caught feelings back.
They dated for a long time which got Theo to rethink his decision of leaving the town or leaving with her, but he didn’t had to worry about it, he’ll soon want to run away from there.
Theo was living by himself in a small house a little away from town but Seren didn’t had (have) a problem with coming over to see him. Not much time before they went to college Theo noticed something changed with Seren because they hadn't seen each other in like a week and a half so he just assumed the worst, she might be cheating. To confirm or deny his theory he followed her after school but everything seemed normal except for the fact that at noon she was heading towards his house.
“She is gonna see another boy at my house??? I can’t believe it.. her” Theo thought but continued following in silence. She arrived and got into the house, he saw her going to the second floor and that’s when he lost it. He got out of the car, ran silently to the house and opened the door. At that point he didn’t had controìl. It was as if something had taken over his actions; anger, maybe but unconsciously he had grabbed a knife when he heard Seren walking downstairs.
When she appeared in his visual camp he didn’t even hesitate and cutted right in the arm’s vein, that’s when he reacted and realized what he did. He had cutted his girlfriend, there he saw his girlfriend bleeding and with a scared face said “Are you crazy??? What's wrong with you!!! get me to the hospital” but he wasn’t that dumb, he would be arrested for attempt of murder or even murder so he asked “What are you doing here Seren!! And tell the truth, is someone else here?”
He got no answer from her, maybe because she was in shock because of the harm, he felt overwhelmed and ran from there but while locking the front door he heard her scream “You leave me here and your town will be cursed forever, I’m warning you Theodor, open this door! I ain’t jokin”. Seren died within hours
.
He thought it was a threat and left the town that same day, he drove away, hoping nobody noticed and that he never gets caught. Few months later his mom found him and told him what happened in their hometown. “The change was so drastic, it all went down the sink, our peace, the lifestyle, our wealth and everything we had builded. I tried to hold us together but it was impossible, some men came and took over. I couldn’t even believe it, that should have never happened. There were some women making sure those men never found us. Also you were missing so I was worried trying to find you” his mom broke down crying. He realized Seren was one of those women that were protecting the town and that he caused everything.
The only thing he could mumble was “Mom there’s no use crying over spilled blood, it's done already”.
He kept repeating this phrase to ease his guilt, he knew he caused that to him, to his mom and to his home but he kept it silent and after his mom passed away he came back trying to make amends but it didn’t got (get) him anywhere. That was his curse and that’s how the town got the name, ‘The Cursed Town’.
