The Future? Something very far but also near us, when we think about the future we think about something that is very far away, but in reality, the future can be nearer than we think, the future can be in one month, one week, one day or even in the next 10 minutes.
The past societies, maybe in the decades of the 70s and 80s, thought about the 2020s in a special way, they thought that in these years the earth would be very advanced in terms of technology, health, education, and many other branches that were still developing in those years.
Well, we´re now in those years, and although society has advanced a lot in many ways, like technological innovation, innovative education, health innovation and other things, we are still behind in other topics, or worse, we are going backwards.
There are still people that discriminate against other genres, there is still racism, there are still phobias to other sexualities, races, etc. and I think that if we do not advance in these terms, it will be very difficult for us in the future to have a peaceful life.
If we keep fighting because of our differences, I imagine a cold futuristic world, with a lot of discrimination, the world will be taken by individualities, letting the union of us as humans broken, with a lot of people suffering from hunger such as now, maybe a third world war because of non-relevant arguments like territorial expanding or economical purposes.
The key for a better future is loving ourselves as a family, the whole world united in one voice, not caring about what other people think or do, caring about a healthy environment, and finally but not least important, caring about our world. That’s the only way I see a future full of prosperity, with lack of arguments or fights because of differences, a world in which humans work together to fulfill all of their goals.
