Miss Universe 2021

 

The 69th edition of Miss Universe will be held on May 16 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, located in Florida, United States, and the transmission can be followed by Colombians through the RCN Channel.

The organization of Miss Universe Colombia confirmed that the RCN Channel will broadcast Miss Universe 2021 and will take it to each of the Colombian homes starting at 8:00 pm so that no details of the important beauty pageant are missed.

Laura Victoria Olascuaga Pinto, the winner of the Miss Universe Colombia 2020 title, traveled to the United States to participate in the beauty pageant and raise the name of the country, however, for the first time the candidate will not be able to be fired at the airport as used to in other years.

“Being consistent with the health emergency that we are experiencing worldwide, we have made the difficult decision not to make an official farewell tomorrow at the Ernesto Cortissoz airport in Barranquilla, in turn, photos with Laura Olascuaga will not be allowed either. Taking care of each other is the only thing that will help us get out of this situation soon. Thank you, Colombia,” - The organization informed through a statement.

The winner of this contest will be the successor of the South African Zozibini Tunzi, who won the title as the most beautiful woman in the world on December 8, 2019 and will deliver the crown in the middle of an event that will have all the biosafety protocols after more than a year being the first queen that lasts that time with the crown.
