Literary Analysis of Our New Reader

 The Hound of the Baskervilles

Sherlock Holmes and Doctor John Watson were having breakfast when Doctor James Mortimer appeared to consult Holmes about a very strange matter that occurred in his town. It had to do with the death of Sir Charles and the story of the Hound of the Baskervilles. The latest Baskerville, Sir Charles, had also just died under mysterious circumstances. Doctor Mortimer suspects that the hound had something to do with the hound. Mortimer then takes Sir Henry to Holmes’ apartment to talk about the matter. Once they arrived, Henry showed Holmes a letter he received telling him to not go on the moor, because his life would be in danger. Someone took one of his shoes too.

Holmes sent Sir Henry to Baskerville Hallwith Watson, where Barrymore, the butler, and his wife welcomed them. The next day, Watson met a man carrying a butterfly net named Stapleton, who seemed to know a lot about the Hound. When Stapleton runs off to catch a butterfly, his sister suddenly approaches Watson, whom she mistakes for Sir Henry, and warns him to go back to London. When she realizes that Watson isn’t Sir Henry, she refuses to tell him why it’s so important for Henry to leave Baskerville Hall.

A few nights later, Watson and Sir Henry find the butler standing at the window while holding a light. Barrymore’s wife then explained that he was doing it to help her brother, Selden, a murderer who had escaped from prison. Later, Watson and Henry tried to catch him but he managed to escape. And Watson found yet another unknown guy on the moor, who seemed to be watching them from afar.
