Americans who have used online dating offer a mixed look at their time on these platforms.
Experience with online dating varies substantially by age. While 48% of 18 to 29 year olds say they have ever used a dating site or app, that share is 38% among 30- to 49-year-olds, and it is even smaller among those ages 50 and older. Still, online dating is not completely foreign to those in their 50s or early 60s. 19% of adults ages between 50 to 64 say they have used a dating site or app. As told before there can be some effects with these online dating platforms, there can be as well good and bad effects.
